The website of The Commute Coffee House in Ilkley suggests the venue is a place to enjoy great coffee as well as immerse yourself in Yorkshire’s cycling culture, and we couldn’t put it better ourselves. The café only opened in June 2016 and already seems to be a hit with the locals. Whether it’s the small offering of cycles and accessories catering for all kinds of rider or the local cycling images and artwork on the walls, everything about the venue takes your eye, which makes the café a great place chill out as groups of cyclists fly by on the main Leeds Road outside. There is ample bike storage outside with locks available to borrow when you visit and a track pump on hand to re-inflate your tyres after a flat. Overall, a great new addition for a town in love with cycling!
