Situated just in the grounds of the very popular tourist attraction Fountains Abbey, the tearoom building is huge, with more than enough space for a decent sized group to sit inside and out front there is a terrace in the sun with plenty of room for a dozen bikes.
We particularly like to visit this cafe in the winter when the venue is a little quieter and you can rely on seating (and warmth!) for a big group, but don’t let this stop you going in the summer as the venue is often a hive of activity.
All profits from the tearoom go back to looking after Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal, so while you are tucking in to your pie or sausage roll you will know you are also giving a little back!
Large Cappuccino: £2.75
Yorkshire Parkin: £1.75
At £2.40 they aren’t the cheapest, but the home made pork pie is an absolute winner!
