Howards – Stokesley

Howards is a cafe, bistro, and restaurant situated in the stunning north yorkshire market town of Stokesley.  Howards offers morning coffee and cakes, luxury lunches, afternoon tea, and sophisticated evening meals.  Howards is a family run bistro so the atmosphere is relaxed and informal.

There’s not much in the way of cycling specific facilities, but the cafe is extremely popular with local cyclists.  For cold days there’s plenty of space inside, but cyclists typically flock to Howards on sunny days.  In fact when the sun is out, it’s rare to not see a rider from Fietsen Tempo enjoying a post ride coffee here!

The riding round here is superb and varied.  There are lots of flat roads towards Northallerton and beyond, and plenty of serious hills a few kilometres South or towards the coast.
