The Kava Kafe is an independent cafe, located right in the bustling centre of Todmorden and it is somewhat of a specialist when it comes to coffee. They hand blend their our own beans to produce some amazing brews and they have a pretty extensive menu for coffee connoisseurs including a single origin of the week served in a two cup French press. As well as the drinks on offer, the cafe boasts a really interesting food menu, with something a little different to the usual fare. Made with fresh ingredients on site, the vegetarian and vegan dishes are mouthwateringly presented and they even have a wide selection of gluten free dishes. Arriving at the cafe mid-morning we tried the peanut butter and banana filled croissant, which was certainly as good as it sounds!
The cafe has an outdoor terrace at the rear where you can sit in the summer overlooking the canal or alternatively you can ask for the keys to the lock and chain your bike in view of your table at the front.
Filled croissant: £3.20
