La Rascasse is a small and smart continental coffee bar with fresh sandwiches, paninis, pastries and delicious homemade cakes.
As many cafes are in this area, La Rascasse is cycling friendly and if you speak to the owner there is an option to leave your bike behind the secure metal gates adjacent.
With seating inside and out it’s a great place to visit in all seasons, however on a hot summers day this café is especially perfect for a small group of urbane riders to sit outside in the sun and perfect those all important tan lines.
The flat, sweeping, Ardennes style country roads in this area are superb in summer and winter, with our favourite route being the back roads between the Tancred Farm Shop & Café and Boroughbridge.
Double espresso: £2.50
Bacon sandwich: £4.25
