La Bottega Milanese is the café to go to in Leeds city centre. It’s located on Bond Court, just behind HSBC on Park Row. This slice of Italian café culture was opened in May 2014 by owner Alex (his second cafe in Leeds).
There is plenty of seating inside and in summer it is great to sit outside with a coffee made from La Bottega’s own custom made blend. The food is homemade and typically Italian, with Piadina salads, lasagna, Italian pastries and fantastic desserts. La Bottega has a track pump, a tool kit and there is plenty of room to park your bike.
This is a popular place to start or end rides with friendly staff in a popular location. Leeds town centre may not be somewhere that you initially think of as a place to ride from but if you want to ride all or part of Stage One of the Tour De France 2014 then this is the place to start!
