Salts Village Bakery & Cafe – Saltaire

Description

About

The Salts Village Bakery is as ‘Yorkshire’ as a café can be. The friendly, no nonsense staff serve bacon sarnies on proper Yorkshire tea cakes, locally made pies and pasties as well as parkin, curd tarts and more, and all at very fair prices.

With a limited number of tables in the café itself and only a small place outside to lean your bike, Salts Bakery becomes the perfect place in summer to get your food and drinks to go, giving you the opportunity to roll a few hundred metres down the cobbled hill to sit alongside the bustling Leeds-Liverpool canal to enjoy your fare.

It’s important to note that the café is a cash only venue, however there are cash machines on the main Bingley Road, a short ride away, so this won’t stop you enjoying the fantastic local produce on offer!
