The Pavilion Café – Cawthorne

The Pavilion cafe is located in the grounds of Cannon Hall Park and offers a tempting range of sandwiches, soups, cakes and pastries and hot and cold drinks.

Whether you are arriving at the café from the north or south you will find a pleasant descent down to the brook in the valley bottom, although this does mean you have to endure a climb back out after your stop!

Seating is available inside or on the terrace overlooking the park and in summer when the café is at it’s busiest you can venture into the park itself to find a spot on the grass in the sun.

It’s a welcoming and traditional small café popular with walkers and tourists, so don’t expect a cycling specific café, however do expect friendly service and tasty homemade food.
