The Barn is a new café and restaurant that has attracted a lot of attention. On your way to this café you will fall in love with the peaceful lanes, winding bends, and picture postcard villages. When you find the café (look for the sign as you go through the village) you will be stunned. The grey wooden paneling, boutique furniture and decorative finishing touches all ooze summer style.
The food is out of this world! In terms of selection, quality and cost The Barn gets it just right. There are things here (like the mini-pizzas) which you won’t find in any other cycling orientated café.
In terms of cycling facilities there’s plenty of space for bikes on the gravel car park and they stock puncture repair kits.
The only down side to The Barn is that there is virtually no space inside, so it’s probably not one for those bad weather days. However if you are a discerning rider and the sun is about to come out – get clipped in and the pedals turning and get to yourself to the barn ASAP.
