The Cavendish Pavilion – Bolton Abbey

Situated in the heart of The Bolton Abbey Estate close to Skipton, The Cavendish Pavilion is in the perfect location for a café stop. Just off the main Grassington road, cyclists take over the huge outside terrace on weekend mornings to enjoy an espresso and a slice of cake overlooking the River Wharfe.

“Cav Pav” as it is affectionately known by the locals, serves hot and cold drinks, hand-made cakes, sandwiches and hot food every day of the week and as a result it has quickly become the go-to meeting place for club riders all over the county.

Due to it’s premium location close to the abbey, the café is busy all year round and, as you would expect, the prices are a little higher than many of the other nearby cafes. However, you are almost always guaranteed to see a friendly face from the cycling community and with ample seating and bike parking outside you can always find a spot to relax.
